  • Developed and implemented training programs for over 60 security officers statewide. Areas covered included patrol tactics (armed/unarmed), patrol and incident reporting, radio communication, first aid, interviewing, detention of violent individuals, and addressing mental health concerns.
  • As first-line supervisor, directed the activities of officers in the Orlando, Jacksonville, and Tampa markets, providing leadership and support to complete assignments efficiently.
  • As command center officer, provided dispatch services company-wide; received and dispatched calls for service; maintained logs documenting all activities and reviewed all patrol and incident reports.
  • Cited twice for merit: once for rendering emergency medical attention to the victim of a suspected drug overdose, and once for apprehending the suspect of an aggravated battery which occurred on-view.
  • Conducts foot and vehicle patrol of multiple client sites in an assigned sector of the Orlando metropolitan area; responded to calls for service for those same sites.

  • Managed Support Services Division, including investigations, emergency management, property custody (evidence, lost and found), parking permit program, and the vehicle fleet.
  • Enforced Missouri state law and campus policy; granted police powers by St. Louis Board of Police Commissioners; investigated and cleared crimes to include aggravated assault and motor vehicle theft.
  • Utilized trauma-informed investigation approach to resolve Title IX cases, including sexual assault, stalking, and domestic/dating violence.
  • Maintained Daily Crime and Fire Logs as required by the Clery Act.
  • Assisted the Associate Director in composing Annual Campus Safety Report, including statistics for certain crimes and fires and numerous policy statements.
  • Liaised with local agencies, including St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, St. Louis City Sheriff’s Office, St. Louis Public Schools safety team to ensure healthy and productive working relationships. Coordinated several joint activities with the above agencies.
  • Initiated and developed field training programs for new officers and sergeants. Authored approximately 20 policy initiatives within the Department of Public Safety.
